Cookie & Tracking Notice
Tidysite by Dropwire Digital Pty Ltd Effective: 22 June 2026 Last updated: 22 June 2026
Plain English summary. Our marketing website at
tidysite.com.auuses cookies and tracking pixels — Google Analytics to see what marketing works, and pixels from Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads to show you Tidysite ads if you've visited the site before. You can opt out using the controls at the bottom of this page. Tidysite-built customer websites do not carry these pixels by default; that's our customers' choice.
1. What this notice covers
This notice covers tracking on our marketing website at tidysite.com.au, the Tidysite client portal at app.tidysite.com.au, and any Tidysite-operated subdomain.
It does not cover tracking on websites we build for our customers — those are governed by the customer's own privacy policy.
2. What we use, and why
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed to make the site work. We don't ask permission for them because the site can't function without them.
| Purpose | Examples | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Session and login | Authentication tokens | Tidysite (first-party) |
| Security | CSRF tokens, anti-bot checks | Tidysite, Cloudflare |
| Preferences | Cookie banner state, theme | Tidysite (first-party) |
2.2 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use our marketing site. GA4 collects information about your device, approximate location (city level), pages visited, time on page, and traffic source. By default GA4 uses anonymised identifiers and we do not share data with Google for advertising purposes from GA4 alone.
2.3 Advertising pixels
If you visit our marketing site, you may see Tidysite ads on these platforms afterwards. We use:
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) pixel — to show relevant ads on Meta platforms
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — to show relevant ads on LinkedIn
- Google Ads conversion tracking — to see whether ads lead to signups
These pixels share information about your visit (page URL, approximate location, device) with the relevant ad platform. The ad platforms may combine that with information they already hold about you.
2.4 What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use these pixels on customer-facing Tidysite websites unless the customer asks us to and updates their own privacy policy accordingly.
- We don't run third-party advertising networks on the marketing site (no banner ad exchanges).
3. How to opt out
3.1 The simple option — browser or device controls
The easiest way is to use the controls already in your browser or device:
- Chrome / Edge / Firefox / Safari all have a setting to block third-party cookies, which switches off most ad tracking on this site.
- iOS Safari has Intelligent Tracking Prevention enabled by default — most third-party tracking is already blocked for you.
- Browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger block analytics and pixels at the network level.
3.2 Per-tool opt-outs
You can also opt out of individual tools:
- Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Meta — adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook account settings, or install Meta's opt-out tools
- LinkedIn — turn off "Ads outside of LinkedIn" in your LinkedIn ad settings
- Google Ads — adjust your ad personalisation settings
3.3 Australia / New Zealand industry opt-outs
- Australia — Your Online Choices
- New Zealand — same site covers NZ
4. Third-party privacy policies
These cover what the third parties do with the information they collect through pixels and analytics on our site:
- Google:
policies.google.com/privacy - Meta:
facebook.com/privacy/policy - LinkedIn:
linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy - Cloudflare:
cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
5. Changes
We may update this notice when we add or remove a tracking tool. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Substantive changes will be flagged on the cookie banner.
